We are pleased to announce that today our bargaining team signed a Tentative Agreement with the hospital on our next contract! Our team worked tirelessly with our federal mediator to secure pay and protections for the next two years.
What happens next?
In-person special meeting next Wednesday, December 17, from 6am to 12noon in one of the hospital conference rooms. Full copies of the Tentative Agreement and in-depth summaries will be available. The bargaining team will be present to answer all questions. Voting will occur electronically via Election Buddy after Wednesday’s meeting.
In order to attend this meeting and vote, dues must be current through December 2025. Please log into Unionly to pay via link in your personal email. We will make every accommodation to help at the special meeting, but in the interest of time please try to take care of dues beforehand.
Some Highlights from the TA

Average first-year wage increases of 11.5% for 2010 RN licensure year and later; 3% lump sum bonus for top-of-scale RNs (2011 and earlier)

Me Too language for another Union raise in 2026 if non-Union Henry Ford nurses receive a raise

New language for a staffing committee

New scheduling language to define the order of picking up extra shifts for Union RNs

Increases to most premiums, $4 an hour float pool premium, and paid parental leave benefit

Bonus of $3,000 for FT or $1,500 for PT upon contract ratification and withdrawal of 2025 ULP charges - the older Ascension charges that went to trial remain active
