We are pleased to announce that today our bargaining team signed a Tentative Agreement with the hospital on our next contract!
What happens next?
In-person special meeting next Wednesday, December 17, from 6am to 12noon in one of the hospital conference rooms. Full copies of the Tentative Agreement and in-depth summaries will be available. The bargaining team will be present to answer all questions. Voting will occur electronically via Election Buddy after Wednesday’s meeting.

Some Highlights from the TA
- Retained Christmas Eve holiday
- PTO increased to 200 hours for 0-4 years seniority.
- All other PTO and accrual PTO remains the same.
- If your 1st year increase is less than 4%, you will receive a lump sum bonus of the difference.
- Many will receive first year increases of 6% or greater.
- 3 year contract with guaranteed minimum increase of 3% for years 2 and 3, more if the non-unions get a higher increase.
- Ability to offer 8, 10 and 12 hours shifts in all modalities.
- Paid parental leave incorporated into our contract.
- Increases in afternoon (8% of base wage) and midnight (10% of base wage) shift differential.
- Weekend premium increased to $2 per hour starting at 3pm on Friday to 7:30 am Monday.
- Increase in on-call pay to $6
- Added limitation of 20 days to take disciplinary action.
- Schedule grid for choosing holiday shifts to work.
