HENRY FORD PAY ERRORS

Paycheck stubs posted today show that the Hospital has not yet implemented all increases from the ratified contract. Thank you to everyone who sounded the alarm early! We are aware of these Hospital errors and are working quickly and diligently to get them corrected. Premium rates (listed below) and 3% lump sum bonuses (for top of scale RNs employed on December 18, 2025) are not showing on today’s check stubs. 


New Premium Rates:

  • FLOAT POOL RNs: $4 per hour if employed in the Float Pool department.
  • SHIFT PREMIUM: Window = must work @ least 4 hours in a premium window to get premium 
  • Afternoon shift (1500-2300) = 8%
  • Night shift (2300-0730) = 10%
  • WEEKEND PREMIUM: $2 per hour
  • ON CALL PAY = $6 per hour
  • CERTIFICATION PAY: anyone currently receiving it will continue receiving it. New certifications get a one-time $700 bonus - talk to your manager to submit for this. 
  • PRECEPTOR PAY: $1.50 per hour
  • CHARGE PAY: $2.00 per hour 
  • ACLS PAY: 12 hours for first-time testing; 10 hours paid for re-certification 
  • BLS PAY: 2 hours at straight time for every time taken
  • *Plus $0.25 per hour for BSN, 0.35 per hour graduate degree, etc.
 

New wages are in Year 1 of the chart. Please fill out this form with all paycheck errors so that we have a better way of tracking them. If you suspect something is wrong, submit it. We have 60 days to file grievances for errors. SUBMIT HERE

 

What we have done: 

 

We sent a detailed spreadsheet to the Hospital by the January 5th deadline as agreed upon. This included every RN, their new pay rate, eligibility for the 3% bonus, and their new Union dues rates - above and beyond what we have ever done in the past, in an attempt to help this process as much as possible. Today, we have been in constant communication with both payroll and the VP of HR to get this fixed by Friday as required by the new contract. As we have new information we will send it out to you.

 

Note that the Hospital agreed to pay the $3000 full time/ $1500 part time bonus no later than January 30. In order to qualify for this bonus, you had to be employed as of December 28, 2025.
