Brothers and Sisters,

Today was a frustrating day, with the Hospital wasting the entire bargaining day.  Notwithstanding our notifying the Hospital on Wednesday that we would be asking you for a strike vote next week, the Hospital did not present us with a proposal.  Rather, at literally the last minute of the scheduled session, the Hospital sent us an off-the-record “mediator supposal.”  Mediator supposals are not formal bargaining proposals and are not permitted to be shared with the bargaining unit. 

After sending us the supposal, the Hospital sent you an update that claims the minimum wage increase from the November implementation was around $8 an hour (ha).  Then they claimed their mediator supposal of their July 2025 last, best and final offer (which you rejected overwhelmingly in November) would be presented to you for vote next week.  This is not accurate, we are not permitted to present off-the-record mediator supposals for a vote.  As we told the Hospital, we will present to you the Hospital’s last formal proposal before the meeting for each Article.  If the Hospital wants to stop playing games and before the meeting offers the July 2025 lbfo again, we will take that to you for vote.
