MCLAREN MACOMB 2025 CONTRACT FIGHT

OPEIU, Local 40 Nurses and Service Group at McLaren Macomb Hospital have voted to authorize a ULP strike beginning July 7th at 7 a.m. The strike addresses numerous unfair labor practices by McLaren, which hinder our ability to reach fair contracts. Our efforts are focused on a stronger patient matrix, fighting McLaren's poverty wages, ending subcontracting, and improving working conditions. This unity is essential to improving the hospital for both staff and patients.

AUGUST WEEK 1 ACTION SCHEDULE

We want to update you on our ongoing efforts and plans for the weeks ahead. Despite the hospitals' retaliatory actions, we will not let this stop our advocacy for the issues we need to address. We firmly believe that we are fully within our rights to continue these actions, and I will not back down to the hospital’s retaliation.
